Contributions and Involvement

The St. Clair Jaycees are involved in reaching out and serving others. Through projects in local chapters, Jaycees are bettering communities all across America. The organization actively serves people by organizing charitable and often times fun events. The proceeds are then donated to a needy cause or a local project in our area. Take a look at how the St. Clair Jaycees have been improving our community.

In June of 2007: The St. Clair Jaycees donated $309.98 to the St. Clair Parks Department for New basketball hoops & nets, proceeds were from our 1st Trivia Night held April 13th, 2007.

In December of 2007: The St. Clair Jaycees donated $300.00 to the St. Clair Municipal Pool Fund for repairs and re-opening, the Jaycees also provided Christmas gifts for 6 children from the Lions Angel Tree Program, and donated roughly 75 non perishable food items to the Kops & Kids Canned Food Drive, all proceeds were raised at our inaugural Horse Race event which took place on November 30th, 2007.

In April of 2008: The St. Clair Jaycees donated $1300.00 to the St. Clair Municipal Pool Fund, proceeds were from our 2nd annual Trivia Night, held March 14th, 2008.

Currently the St. Clair Jaycees are raising money to benefit the “Relay for Life” campaign. This event is held each year and all proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society to help fund cancer research. The events we’ve held so far to benefit the Relay for Life 2008 are: The St. Clair Jaycees Soft Tip Dart Tournament, held April 26th 2008, and The St. Clair Jaycees Rummage and Bake Sale, held May 10th, 2008. Please show your support by making a donation, or stop by our booth at this year’s Relay for Life. This event will be held June 13th 2008, at the Washington Fair Grounds, in Washington Missouri. We hope to make this our largest donation yet.
